Nuala Hemphill
Hello, I am Nuala Hemphill and I am really looking forward to
being SENCO and playing a part in a new school opening. I love
challenges and new projects and this is certainly an exciting one.
I live locally in the village and really believe that our community
will benefit from a community secondary school. It will be great to
bring this historical site to life again.
I have worked in a range of schools and settings as a teacher
and manager in Inner London, Reading and Wokingham. My recent work
as a Behaviour Support Teacher has enabled me to develop insight
into effective special educational needs provision. I hope that I
can use the skills and experience that I have gained to serve the
young people and parents in our community well. I truly believe
that every child and young person matters. I believe in inclusion
and the provision of personalized learning and achievement
interventions to support needs and extend strengths and gifts.
In my spare time I enjoy being with my family. I love walking
and playing with our two border collies, Ellie and Paddy. I love
Latin music and dance, especially Salsa and Bachata.
